To know how much oil your hair needs, start by understanding its porosity—how well it absorbs and retains moisture.
Porosity Test (Water Test):
Place a clean strand of hair in a glass of room-temperature water and observe how it behaves after a few minutes:
Floats on the surface:
Low porosity — your hair resists moisture. Use a small amount of lightweight oil (just a few drops) to avoid buildup and greasiness.
Stays in the middle:
Medium porosity — your hair maintains a healthy balance. Use a moderate amount of oil to nourish, add shine, and keep it manageable.
Sinks quickly to the bottom:
High porosity — your hair absorbs and loses moisture quickly. Use a slightly larger amount of richer oil to help seal in moisture and reduce dryness.
Who We Are
Our journey began long before Wecuree was created. Back in 2014, one of our founders started experiencing hair fall during college—largely due to the constant use of commercial products and lack of proper nourishment.
Like many, the initial approach was to try more products. But over time, it became clear that something deeper was missing—true nourishment, proper scalp care, and healthy blood circulation.
That’s when we turned to what we already had—our grandmother’s time-tested recipes. Simple, natural, and rooted in care, these remedies became the foundation of our journey. We tested them, used them consistently, and saw real change.
In 2021, Wecuree was born from this experience—with a mission to bring back honest, effective hair care that focuses on nourishment at its core, not just surface-level results.
